A bunch of VW engineers got together and decided they wanted to create something entirely new in China for China and then export out to the rest of the world. We like that kind of visionary thinking, so we decided to imbue that Q with all the imagination that Qoros had told us they were, from TV to print to interactive, we were gonna make that little Q a think of wonder, just as this car had promised to be. Ultimately, they weren't all the imaginative and they ended up creating a pretty basic car and then they hired a pretty typical agency to create one of the cheesiest Chinese campaigns ever. That said, we like what we made and were bummed we never got to execute any of it.
